Mental Health First Aid Training

Mental Health First Aid teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults aged 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.

Participants will have an opportunity to apply Mental Health First Aid action plans in a variety of situations. This training includes practical opportunities, you will have an opportunity to practice through role plays, scenarios, and activities.
